Your buyers can see estimated delivery dates at the line-item level. These dates update in real-time until the customer places an order or the quote expires.
As an example:
If your lead time is 1 day and your customer is viewing pricing they will see tomorrow’s date as the Estimate delivery date, until 3pm CT when they will see an update to next business day. This date will vary line-item by line-item and is not full quote dependent.
Stock material lead times are set inside your quote settings > tiers & strategies > quote rules for “Delivery Lead Time”.
Processed parts use the lead times from your calculator setup, showing realistic delivery windows that match your operations. You can also set boundaries for your automated quoting, so if a customer asks for too many of a part, or a processing time that is over a threshold of your choosing, Stella will let your customer know that someone is looking over their inquiry and will get back to them very soon…. Allowing you to dial in the lead time and pricing as needed.
